I Never Knew My Father
My mother told me that when she was dating the person who was supposedly my father, she made up the story of her being pregnant because she thought it would make him feel obligated to her so they would have to get married. Well it didn't take long to figure out that my mother at that time wasn't pregnant and when the man and his family found out, they didn't want anything to do with her. Well not long after that she did end up getting pregnant and went to him again, but this time none of them believed that it was his child and with so many people against my mom, she never pursued it and gave me to my grandparents who adopted me at 2 weeks old.
My mother told me his name but no other that could possibly be a father at all. unfortunately when i was able to track this man down, i found that he had already died of cancer, so really there will be no knowing of who my father really was. My mother died 5 years ago and she never gave any other indication.
