I Never Leave The Toilet Seat Up

I'm a very visual person and my dad trained me about the seat this way. He said, "Think of your mom coming to pee in the middle of the night and you left the seat up . . . 
Never have, never will.

    Put it this way. I get up in the middle of the night, to take a pee. Turn the light on put the seat up, do my thing, put it down, wash hands and back to bed. This kind of thing will wake you up really.

    So do as your wife does. Sit to pee. Has other advantages also, when the prive needs a cleaning. In Europe I understand what I have heard and seen, many a men sit all the time. Nothing against it, but not in public bathrooms of course.
