You and me ... such a mixed memory

happy at time when we are together

sad that it has to end

we were a blessing to each other

and a curse some would say

we made the world brighter

and filled our lonely days and nights

with passion, talk, laughter and love

holding hands, walking

stealing from others

to make the best with what we have

I'm not sure of anything

and feel good today

for you are in my heart

forever and always

if even for just a fleeting moment

when I think of us and smile

time will not end this

but what can't be said will

there's no more talking

no more laughter

today there are tears

empty and meaningless

I wonder as I look

up into the sky

if you see the same star

will you someday forget me?
