I Only Want Friends In My Circle
At times though... this all sounds a lot like the Middle School cheerleaders whining about everyone wanting to be like them...
What does it cost to have a "fan"?
And if I'm running a **** star profile... I'm seriously going to complain that people add me hoping to see the photos on the page? I can understand if you're a member of a group, or five for that matter, which are based on some form of "look at my *******" or "Here's my nekked wife". By all that's holy, I'm all for naked wives and have what is apparently a very common fantasy about guys seeing my wife naked, and have membership in a couple of groups like that. But if you're a member of 871 groups based around the word "naked" or "Tribute" or have a featured story saying basically "Come look at my pictures", isn't it a reasonable assumption that people are going to answer with "Awesome, may I see, please?"
The majority of the EP world I think is much broader and varied, but I suppose my point is that if your EP profile is based on some form of "look at me", then it can't be a surprise if you have dozens of friend requests, can it? I'm not saying you can't say no - that would be silly. You SHOULD say no! But... there's a danger that one might become spoiled and whiney and arrogant too I suppose.
