The Sega Saturn was a console ahead of its time. Despite its quirky internal hardware and relative unpopularity in the western world, it saw some innovative releases that still hold a special place in my heart. Panzer Dragoon Saga and NiGHTS into Dreams aren't just two of my favorite games of the era, but of all-time. They certainly don't make 'em like they used to.

They certainly don't :(. Ahhhh, the good old days of gaming, where new ideas were the every day, and no one rehashed on old ideas.

Right. Nothing really stands out anymore; it's just the same-old, same-old.

The only game I've played recently that's kept me entertained is Titanfall. It may not be a new genre, but the implementation is new, and it works well ^^.

That's great to hear! I've yet to play it, but I've heard good things about it.

You should definitely try it. I bought both the XB1 and PC versions, and I have to say, they were worth the money ^^. Definitely try to play it if you get the chance .
