My Moon

There is this girl I met online a while back. We clicked immediately and we have a relationship unlike any other I've had. We're best friends, sisters, would be lovers if not for the fact she lives so far away from me.

She calls me Faolain which means little wolf as she knows of my strong connection with them. I call her my moon because, as she said once "the wolf and the moon just go together" and that sums us up pretty well.

For christmas one year, I went in search of a wolf head necklace that I had seen once and actually managed to get it for free (the store was getting rid of them and it was the last wolf head and was also a display). Naturally, I wrapped it up and mailed it to her as a gift. On the same train of thought without knowing the type of gift I got her, she mailed me a necklace she had found in a little market.

She sent it straight from Spain and it's a little half moon with a face in profile. Near the bottom tip of the moon, there is a little star. It's all silver and is absolutely gorgeous (in my opinion at least).

We sent each other necklaces as a way of always being there for each other in whatever way we're needed. The only time I've ever taken it off is to dye my hair and then it's right back on.
