I am a person of the Rock Nation!



My crystals names are more purpose/receiving/storing/giving ect. 'Receiving Your Tears' is one such.



Rocks on the other hand have much more divers names. But like all language and cultures color/use/sometimes gender/family .....(ie (G)mother (G)father, Sis, bro, Auntie, Uncle, teacher etc).... are usually the theme.



I am a fetish caller (ref. story in I am Pagan, Person of the Rock Nation.)so They generally tell me who they are. Sister Raven Calls and Brother Bear Eating Salmon and Granny are some.



And the feeling really varies from rock to rock and crystal to crystal. Also I depends on What I am doing. During the cleanse and alignment It starts lightly in the hands and then up into the wrists and arms, there is where the milkdrop feeling sometimes develops, as It breaks up and clears the blockages, my arm might feel the need to twitch or give a little jerk to straighten a bit, but then the flow smooths out.

i would like to know if your crystal has given you it's name?

A rock hound store is a good source of raw crystals. most regions of the country have one around, rock hounds are everywhere.



I would go on line to a bookseller ie amazon or barnes and noble. or your local new age boutique will usually carry books.



I am always very careful about crystals that are in open display baskets or trays. Be sure to state mentally, (with out fail) and verbally that no negative energies will be accepted.



When you hold the crystal in your palm you might feel an odd tingle, switch hands, and see what you feel, there might be a drawing sensation, this is a crystal for you. and this will also tell you which is your receiving hand and which is you giving hand.

Wow that is amazing are their any good books that I could learn about crystals. I do not think we have any stores in my area that sell real crystals. But would love to get some.
