The Spark

Igniting a hidden element
Raw and unrelenting
Unknown but familiar
The first flicker almost unnoticeable
Fluttering, glinting, luring
The flame that is yet to come.

To bring light
Into the bosom of darkness
To bring color
Into a drab hue of greyness
To bring warmth
Into a cold sheltered life.

Such an inspiration this tiny spark can do
Kindling to be seen
Tickling to be touch
Reaching out to be alive
To the flame that is yet to come.

Curious, isn't it? For such a small thing, it's intricate and puzzling. I am just amazed by it. <br />
Thanks, DV... ;)
