I Miss Baseball Like A Lost Love

I played baseball all my life, it was the sport I always connected with.  Some of the greatest times of my childhood came in summer baseball leagues.  When I think of my dad, the first memory I'll think of is the countless times in the backyard while he tirelessly pitched to me and caught for me.  Baseball never gets funner than in the backyard with your dad, i don't care if it's the World Series, it can't touch the perfection of just me and my dad for hours.  I'm in college now, at a major university, and although I was good enough to be all-conference in high school, could never play D-1.  I pitched all my life, and was never more comfortable then when toeing the rubber, feeling like it was just me and the mitt in existence.  Now I haven't even thrown a baseball in over a year and a half, it's like not walking anymore.  I'd give anything to relive some of the old moments...
