I don't know if you are willing to give it a try, but there are several programs out there that allow players to connect and play over the internet. I know it's not the same as a face to face game, but for those of us with a full time job and a family, which makes it difficult to set aside time to get together, it's a good solution. Additionally, you'll have a much larger player base to communicate with, and aren't stuck only seeking games and players within your immediate area.
I've been playing a Warhammer campaign now for almost 2 years with the same group of guys this way... we use a program called Fantasy Grounds II, and use Skype for our voice communication. It works very well and we have a good time every time we play. I also play Call of Cthulhu with another group the same way, and have run my own Call of Cthulhu games using this as well.
Other "Virtual Table Top" RPG programs are OpenRPG, BattleGrounds RPG, MapTool, and iTableTop to name some of the more well known ones.
Anyway, just a suggestion. Good luck finding a solution.
