LOVE zombies. ...but they are also the scariest monster to me. Sometimes I have a hard time sleeping after watching a zombie movie. Anyway, Left 4 Dead is an amazingly awesome game (that I'm not allowed to play at night or by myself).
My fiance Magnus trips the witch on purpose so she'll attack my character- I always freak out. Especially when I hear the music playing- I know he's going to wake her. 
I make him promise not to scare me and he always breaks it.
