Solo Artist

I've discovered if I don't group, I play much less compulsively and for shorter periods of time.  I used to play EQ and got very involved with raiding and so forth.  I knew this time with WoW, with my job and being now married, there was no way I could dedicate the same amount of time without creating havoc and losing what's most important to me.  I am a member of a good guild and enjoy the company of people there, and I have soloed my gnome warlock up to 60.  I group only very rarely.  I'm alliance on a PVP server overrun by belfs and I'm lousy at PVP but I do enjoy it quite a bit all the same, and I'm getting better.  I do plan to raid a little with my guild once I get to 70, so I'll set aside some time specifically for that, but otherwise family and job and my health always come first, and I enjoy my game much more that way.  It's a great way to relax and spend some "private" time just letting my brain decompress.

Great job soloing to level 60 that is not a very easy thing to do. Also you have a good head on your shoulders and your priorites set. I have heard of so many of these games causing people to lose jobs and family.

I agree completely - I used to play EQ as well, and spending HOURS finding groups or raids just makes you want to stay in them all day - literally. WoW is much easier to sit down and play for half an hour or as long as you want.
