Smokers Need To Respect Non Smokers

I'm a non smoker, have never taken a drag, never want to but I've been around smokers my whole life and am suffering the effects.
Through my whole life I could not understand how someone could suck on a burning stick of tobacco, just the thought of it has always been disgusting to me. People have always offered me smokes and a few times a joint but I've always politely declined. A friend of mine told me kissing a smoker is like kissing an ashtray, when I was single I wouldn't even consider dating a smoker.

There seems to be something in cigarette smoke that turns off the courtesy to others section of the brain. They leave butts and packages everywhere, smoke in equipment and rooms that I must use also, stink up my clothes and get smoke film on everything. And that's not even considering second hand smoke that I must breath.

These people chose to smoke, that is their business and it's OK with me. But I chose not to smoke, do I not have the right to not have to breath second hand smoke or get dirtied up because of it or pickup after smokers? Also a portion of my taxes and health care insurance premiums go toward smokers and smokers victims additional health expenses.

Governments have to make laws to protect children and non smokers in public areas because smokers don't have the courtesy to see it themselves, then they have the gall to complain about it and call it infringement on their rights, usually as they are blowing smoke in non smokers faces.

It's just sad.

Your tolerance for others is appalling.

It is isn't it? I should just shoot them, save us all a bunch of suffering...
