Well, we are actually saving up now. And as soon as I get out of school and get my job...I am going to open up a retirement account and not touch it so the money will be sitting in an account for at least 20 more years (Hubby is Marine) soooo...hopefully by that time we will have enough to do what we want when we want. You know what I mean. But by then with the way the housing market is going if it keeps going this way who knows what will happen?

That's awesome... unfortunately for me I don't foresee any lottery winnings coming my way so I have to settle for less land... hahaha... my boyfriend has 8 acres on the river now... and we're going to see if we can get the lot next to him too... so we may have 10 acres... hopefully...

I want at least 1500 acres when we retire and right smack dab in the middle I am going to put my house and a pond. I am dead serious. We are going to have a small farm, a small area for a couple moo cows and a horse or two and the rest of it we will keep as wooded area for a safe haven for forest creatures. I will not allow any hunting (hubby's not to happy 'bout that) or anything like that. He can fish in our pond to his hearts desire. I want to be in touch with nature when I am older. I really just want to be that close to it.

I grew up a country girl. I now live in the city. I miss the sounds of the country. The frogs a'croakin, the crickets chirpin', the whisper of pine needles gently swirring against one another in the breeze, lord knows I could go on an on. Ole' lord this is going to wind up a story...lol. I miss it that's all your getting for now...haha So yeah I know how ya feel phidge!
