i have so many masks...the strong mask for my siblings so they dont see me cry.the bravery mask when im truely scared to death. my happy mask the one that i show to everyone that i see so they wont see my real self...cause that is something that will push all my loved ones away:(

I can relate to this and I'm sure many others in this group can..while some masks are more extreme than others - It's still pretending. Did you know If you deny that you are feeling negative emotions, it could lead to actually much more stress? Do everything you can to honestly assess your emotions and release the stress through breathing techniques, exercise, journaling, or talking about your feelings - I find the last one there to be most helpful. You're human and you need to deal with It.
