Procrastination Is Bad

I procrastinate everything. I'm procrastinating right now. I'm always procrastinating. The thing is, I wish I could stop. It really leads to bad things. I procrastinated my college applications and now I'm afraid I won't get into college. I want to kick myself sometimes.
I don't know how to stop.
My boyfriend made a very insightful point yesterday. Maybe I procrastinate not because I'm lazy, but because I'm afraid of confronting things that make me uncomfortable or upset. I think he's right.
