Always and Probably Forever

I can't say that I have been this way since birth since I was born two weeks early.  But I've been a procrastinator as far back as I can remember.  I used to put off homework until it was actually past due.  I took lesser grades in school because I didn't give myself enough time to finish the assignment.  My teachers always told me that it was A work but it just wasn't on time.  I failed a class in college because I never turned a single assignment in on time and missed tests.  At work I put things off until I'm pushed into a corner.  Even now, I'm pushing off making wedding plans, paying my bills, and going back to college.

I can't make sense of it.  I'm not sure if it's that I've always been scared about making the leap when it comes time or that I'm just plain lazy.  It's something that still boggles me.  I have every opportunity to do the things that need done or what I want to do but I never get it done on time.
