Im Foreign When I Drink

l ast year i lived with a south african who sounded like the female version of Austin Powers...and about a week after i returned to the USA, i went to a massive halloween party in my uni town.  i was sitting on a curb waiting for a friend outside, very drunk, and a girl began hitting on me.  for some reason i adapted my former south african roomates accent.  she found me charming, i found it hilarious.  a few minutes later my friend turned up and i said goodbye to my curb companion. 

days later it was election time. i went to the polls, and was waiting in a long line, waiting, waiting waiting.  i noticed a girl continuously looking at me a ways up, but thought nothing of it.  at one point, the guards changed the line so as to better fit in a space.  this folded the line, and put me right next to the girl who was staring at me.  she then turned towards me and said my name, then saying" you dont remember me, do you?"  i did not. i squinted at her and said no, in my normal, non-Austin voice.  she smiled and explained our connection.  i chuckled and said sorry, telling her i was drinking, etc etc, to which she replied, "yes it´s ok. you lost your memory along with your accent, apparently." BURN. it was awesome.
