Done For Good This Time !!

I started smoking when i was 12 because most of my friends were older then me and i wanted to be "cool" what was i thinking? not to sure because 16 years later i wish i never touch the stuff. my battle with quiting was bad and i tried to quit 3-4 times but i always had problems with my temper and giving in. December last year my husband and i decided to start a family. i had to quit to do this not only for myself but for the baby. i started doing research on how to quit and made a plan with a date in mine. i decided the day after Christmas(so i won't destroy Christmas) it was going to be a gift to myself and i knew new years never works. the first week was hell for me and everyone around me. i was tired 24/7 but when i went to sleep i couldn't sleep well and that made me very grumpy. i was a huge meanie ...ha ha.. but after 2 and half weeks passed it started getting easier. its been month, 2 weeks and three days ...aha

i am starting to get my energy back and working off the eight pounds i gain but my mother told me i look better with the weight because i was under weight before but need the fat in the right area's ha ha!

everyone that's thinking of quiting or already started its very hard but once you get over the hump you feel so much better. you have to surround your self with good people and ones that are not going to put you down when you start to go crazy !

if you need help please feel free to ask because knowledge is the key to success

Congradulations to you! I never smoked because the smell was so awful i never wanted to touch the stuff, but i do know many people who do and have tried to quit smoking.
My dad smoked heavy for 5 years 2 packs a day, when my mom found out she was pregnant with my older sister he stoped cold turkey that day! He said it was one of the hardest things he ever had to do, but he wanted to stop for his childs sake and i admire him for that, you are doing the same for your child.
Take care and God bless you and your family.
