Well, I live in VA. Cigarettes just went up, again! I am so angry about this! I mean, last week I was paying $3.05 for a pack of marlboros. And, now it's gone up to $4.02 a pack! In one week! What the hell? I mean, come on. Enough is enough. I cannot afford that much for ciggs as bad as the economy is now.

    I understand your frustration. I am glad you quit. You'll have a few extra bucks in your pocket, the government isn't picking your pocket as much and your health and well being will be greatly increased! Plus! You won't smell anymore and your teeth won't be yellow! I'd say those were all pluses! Keep up the good work! I wish you all the best!

    I know! I have been so broke lately that I was buying generic cigarettes. They usually cost less than $4 a pack anywhere I buy them, but last night I went to get a pack at the gas station and she said "$4.48." I was like, "Huh? No way." She told me all cigarette prices were raised. I cannot afford that. I need to quit.
