I Have Done It

I went cold turkey, it's day 3. Going okay so far, had some junk food cravings like crazy, just before and on the first day, seem to have tapered off. I'm looking into some Pilates and other activities to keep me busier. I'm a bit of a homebody, like to read...not necessarily conducive to stopping smoking, at least not right now.

Caffeine helped me in the first few days.... replaces the stimulant effect of nicotine.

You can do it! I quit after 25 years of it, and I don't have a very strong will power. I've been free of it since 9/06. Now I can not stand the smell or a smokey room.<br />
