i have a chicken that is a female. she has spurs like a rooster. is that normal?? should i cut them or file them or something?? she doesn't fight or anything. definately female because she lays eggs.

    I have tried to trim spurs on a roo... They bleed. If she is not hurting you just leave them alone.



    I had a hen that crowed.... She layed eggs too...
