No matter how or who wrote the title ..
Behind the scene - there was a person who believed in this man to give her kidney.
The Editor could have chosen to write - Wife expresses love by giving her kidney.
Let's say your significant other asks "Please give me some bone marrrow tissue for some clinical experiment " - Would you do it ? had you NOT believed or LOVED this person.
