I Read Lots of Books At the Same Time

i keep a book where i write down every book that i want to read. I'm always scribbling down cryptic notes while driving or working to add to it. because there are always hundreds of titles in it, i tend to order up 7 or 8 at a time from the library. i think everyone is always looking for that book that really grabs them, so i start all of the books and put them all around me. bedroom, reading chair, kitchen, living room, car, purse (in case i have time to kill somewhere- you know). this way i have a good chance of finding the attention grabber and if i run out of time on the others, well, that's what the 'renew all' feature is for.

I kind of do the same thing ... but on a smaller scale and I often check out 4-5 books a month at my local library and read like crazy. Thanks for sharing it.

I have scattered books as well. The breakfast book, the lunch book (in my purse for day away from home), the car book, the supper book and the bed book. I understand the need to find the mind grabber. Good reading!

I am reading Memonoch the devil by Rice and Siege of darkness by Salvatore also Amber and blood by Weise Shadow puppets by Card is another Fahrenheit 451 by Bradbury

I love to read and I read sci fi or fantasy to escape the hum drum of daily routine it keeps the mind sharp

  Did you read hyperion by dan simmons or xenogenisis trilogy by octavia butler? Both excellent. I will take a look at blood and shadow puppets. Do you mean r.a. salvatore?

  blood is the third in a series Amber and Ashes is the first and yes R A is correct also shadow puppets is a compaion series to Enders game if you have not read it I suggest you read it first to help understand the relationships of the characters it is also the third in a series the first is Enders shadow

Well after I replied to you about the spelling police I read your profile and wow, we are much alike, I am a crazy reader as well. I have a kobo, and I love that thing, it saves having 2-7 books around, I just have multiples on my ereader :) Read anything "great" lately. I just finshed "The Help" and loved it.
