Even In The Rain

A few years back when I was on holiday in Cornwall there was a park near where I was staying. I loved the swings, so much so that when it poured down with rain outside I just chucked on a raincoat and made a dash towards them. I wasn't letting that weather stop me so there I was, on the swing amidst it all without a care in the world!

A weird sensation. Like the smell of a school corridor or long lost toy it just takes you straight back. You get a grin like no other adult grin as well. Similar to the face on a dog with its head out of a car window :D

I can't believe people still do that. Sorry, it just seems like they would have grown up over the past 65 years...<br />

Sorry! Love your story! The swings remind me of happiness! I remember swinging as high as I could and jumping out as far as I could get - alot of people broke arms and legs doing this - but I was always okay... :]

I remember people smashing glass in my local park, it's so mean and inconsiderate.

:D... Oh, the swings were my favourite too and my sister, brother and myself used to get very competitive over who could swing up in the air the highest. Sometimes though, we couldn't reach the swings because the teenagers who hung around the park at night would wrap them around the top of the fr<x>ame they were attached to...Spoilsports! :(
