My Story/dream

I've started writing a story for which I have no name yet, but that I got from a dream I had recently. I've started it, as I say but as I only have one part of the stroy, I need to figure a way to link it to a beginning and an end, which I'm finding very challenging. I sit and start to write but then I get reservations and put it on the back burner. I really need to knuckle down *X*

I will add another site that you could check out, ''. Over the last year it really helped me with my first novel, 'Howard and the Crystal of Jedh'. The people on there are great.
I had to rewrite my first beginning 14 times to get it right and then set it aside and wrote a better one. There are successful authors on there that you and chat with. They and others will look at your writing and critique it. It is a wonderful place to learn.
For me, when ever I was stymied in my writing, I would ask myself questions. The best part of my story comes from a dream I had in the middle of a night. I had to get up and write it all down. At the time I thought it was just a great scene. It really ended up affecting how the story went. It is amazing how a story can get a life of its. own.
Good luck with your writing.

Thanks so much for the advice. I hate lingering on things *X*
