I Recently Lost My Best Friend
That same friend from CA I tried emailing over the weekend last week...she finally answered my email! But not until last Tuesday.
She continued making a mess of her life, and still no apology.
I decided to let it go. It made my heart feel empty. She doesn't care. I knew she just couldn't deal with me.
Once we were talking online, and all of a sudden she asked me to hold on. I thought she had to use the restroom. I waited an hour. She left me hanging for an hour then I gave up and signed off. The next day I got online and got a hold of her. I asked her why she abandoned me? She flew into a rage and said she couldn't deal with me.
I felt like I was slapped in the face. She deliberately left me sitting online in a troubled state of mind while I was going through a divorce. She told me she left me sitting while she went to do something else.
And no apology...
Now I know she's not my best friend anymore. Friends don't do this to eachother! Not like this!
So now I can see this may be best for me to let her go...
Even if it hurts.
