Old Friends....

... it's so great to reconnect with old friends... especially when there are fun and memorable moments.  Each friend holds a strong place in your heart where no others can tread.  Family is one thing, but friends were a mere acquaintence at some point before the friendship was made.  Whether it be from an initial 'relation' to the want of a lover, then never going so far.. , or from quite the opposite... an instant lover turning into that one person you could relate to as a 'bother' or  'sister', a few months later, never to go down that 'path'. Reconnecting brings us back to a time when things were much more simple.  Things said were not quite taken so literally, or it was just that much simpler... then we grow up, and it seems as if sometimes, some friendships either flourish, or not... whatever it's worth... they are first and foremost, your friends, who love you unconditionally. My question is now, if and when you cross the line, why does it change?

It's funny how you can be so close to ppl in your earlier years (like college) & then just lose all connection with them...
