I Recycle

What a Waste!

I hate to think of all the things that people throw away and where they go. In our species' evolution we have accomplished many great things and yet the best that we can come up with is scratching a hole in the Earth and covering it over with dirt.

Out of sight out of mind.

Is this really as far as we have come? Or can we find ways to use and reuse our waste that are more beneficial than as future archaeological digs?

    I can't believe that in the US there is no government system for recycling. People have to go out of their way to recycle, that is what makes it so hard, but I do recycle and it is amazing how much less trash I produce.

    most people have the tools, the brains, the outlets but they are too damned lazy to utilize them properly.

    I think the reasons for all these troubles are pretty simple but this doesn't mean they are easy to solve. Some people are greedy, selfish and/or just don't know what they are doing to the world.

    I wish we could invent some type of machinery that allows us to extract the garbage, burn it as fuel, produce electricity from it and then return the ashes to the earth...it'd mean that it would return to the earth in a matter of weeks as opposed to centuries.

    I agree with you , we are just abusing mother nature. Wonder why everything is unbalanced and it is getting worse not better ......sad
