I Refuse to Follow the Petty Unwritten Rules of Society

Each Group Has It's Own Rules

I don't think 'society' is as general as most people assume it is.  When living within a group of people that party there are different unwritten rules your friends ect expect you to live by.  The same applies to living within a conservative straightlaced crowd; just different unwritten rules.  I don't like any of them.  Unwritten implies that you are being steered by manipulative means....social discomfort, peer pressure, glares.  In general I don't like being steered= if I think you are trying to steer me, I will grab the reins and take you for a ride.  You don't want that.

    i agree... don't you think society seems to dictate what is right and what is wrong when really, what IS society? it's made up of people, people who also have ulterior motives, want power; people who want to manipulate you. so really, society is manmade, obviously flawed and so VERY restrictive.

    should i give up following what society says is right? and wrong? how an individual feels cannot really be catagorized into right and wrong can it? ...

    I find unwritten rules and social 'norms' annoying. I do little of it as possible, go with the flow sometimes and protest the rest of the time.



    Everyone is an individual and unique. Social rules imply robots.
