I Accepted Jesus At Age 12

Not me. I ACCEPTED Jesus as my Savior at age 12. Total opposite. Life hasnt been easy. I suffer and laugh like everyone else. But I have Jesus with me and He has helped me through every hard time.

The actual story:

Joseph: Hey, il help you guys out
Jo: Alright!
Joey: Oh thanks!

Joseph: Alright, now get on your knees and start worshipping me.

Jo: Yes sir!
Joey: Erm, what?

Joseph: Did I ever tell you you guys suck, like pathetic and useless?I mean, im the only thing you should live for, you live to serve me.

Jo: Yes, praise Joseph!
Joey: Wait, what!?

Joseph: Alright Jo, let me get you out of this cave, just need to crush Joey's skull with a pickaxe first for questioning me!

Jo: HEIL JOSEPH HEIL JOSEPH!!!!

And that's how it works :3

oh boy. More zombie Jesus followers invading groups they oppose.

Thank you for your inspiring testamony! That is lovely. I accepted Jesus at age 7 and never will I forget the hope he gave me in a hopeless situation....

He already did....people just stubbornly refuse to give Him a chance. He already does offer you salvation and every one else.

Not every Christian has "blind faith" that's a false assumption and a hasty generalization.

I'm gonna let you guys and gals argue it out..pretty obvious none of you will give Jesus a fair chance...so perhaps someone else will?

Jesus Himself said that no man can come to Him unless they are drawn...you can find the exact quote in the book of John 6.

I am not trying to force anyone to believe...so Ive said my part and have told those who read what I written...so therefore...I move on in hopes someone else will believe.

But you all can keep talking back and forth...dont bother me any.

oh one more thing check out www.carm.org good site. and www.godandscience.org those may help answer more questions.

That's a nice story Jesusthetickler, but it is highlighting stubbornness, not logic.
If Jesus showed up, proved who he was, and offered me salvation, you better believe I'd start bowing and loving and believing. But there are people on this planet that just don't have the capacity of blind faith.

Can an Atheist continue to not believe in God (although attack Him which well isnt logical but we wont go there um..) and still go to Heaven? No...because it requires faith in Jesus in God.

But God promises forgiveness to everyone who trusts in Jesus....yes even Atheists.

Joe, Jo, and Joey were travelling one day and got lost in a cave.

"This sucks!" said Joe
"Yeh this sucks!" said Jo
"This so sucks!" said Joey

"Any ideas of how to get out of here?" asked Joe
"Dunno." answered Jo.
"This so sucks!" repeated Joey

"Let's try breaking through this rock!" offered Joe

So they all began to work and work but it did them no good. There was too much rock and all they had to use was more rocks.

"I think we should pray to Cavina." said Jo.
"Who the hell is that?" said Joe.
"That's the goddess of the cave." answered Jo.

So thus they prayed, "Oh great goddess Cavina help us out of this cave."

A spider farted.

"Maybe we should have shaved off all our hairs first?" said Joey.

"Joey! How many times do I have to tell you to stop urinating on my foot!" complained Jo.

"I'm not!" said Joey

"****!" they said in stereo

The cave was filling with water and fast.

"****! ****! ****!" they all screamed in panic.

"What are we going to do?"

Break the rocks faster! Break them faster!"

Puff puff puff!

"it isnt working!" screamed Jo

"Pray to Cavina to Mufasa to someone!" panicked Joe

"Lion king! Lion king!" yelled Joey

"Everyone calm down! We have to think of something!" said Jo

"Face it, there is no way out of here! We are all doomed!"

Suddenly they heard footsteps and a voice.

"Hey, do you guys want out of there?" asked the voice.

"Who the hell are you?"

"Name's Joseph. I'm the son of the head ranger. Looks like you need some help."

"No, we dont! We are just fine!" said Jo
"Jo, we are NOT fine!" said Joe
"Yes, we ARE Joe! That's that jerk Joseph!"
"He's a jerk?"
"Yes, a jerk!"

"Just follow me and I will get you out of this mess." offered Joseph.

"F you! We dont need nor want your help! Your just trying to kill us!" said Jo determined not to leave even though the water was now neck high.

"Come with me. The way is narrow but it is the only way!" pleaded Joseph.

"Maybe we should go Jo?" said Joe.

"If you wanna go with that *******, then you go right ahead! But I warn you, you're going to regret it!"

"Lion King! Mufasa! is that you?" asked Joey

"No Joey, it is just that ***** Joseph!" said Jo

"Who's that?"

"A jerk!"

"Yes a jerk who wants to save our hides!" rebuked Joe

"He does not! He wants you to perish!" said Jo

"Then why is he offering to get us out of this mess we got ourselves into?!"questioned Joe.

"Go with the bastard then!"
"Fine I will you're the one being a bastard and a jerk and a ***** Jo!"

Joe and Joey decide to follow Joseph through the narrow way and out the cave. They cheer and thank Joseph for saving their hineys.

Meanwhile in the cave the water rises and Jo swears and curses and calls Joseph so many swear words that he puts a sailor to shame:

"You ******* ******* Joseph! This is all your damn fault! ****!" he swears and cusses so loudly that Jo and Joey and Joseph can hear him.

"I still dont get how Joseph is such a jerk and all, I mean he offered to save us and he did! How is he a jerk?" asked Joe.

"I dunno." said Joey.

"I wish he hadnt been so stubborn!" sobbed Joey.

"Me too!" said Joe.

They sobbed for Jo.

Good story but the premise is asinine to me. Either you believe in your "God" or be damned. Now you come up with some other story of Africans killing Missionaries (who had no damned business trying to inflict their beliefs on someone else anyway) "Jesus loves us, God loves us" how could there be a hell if "God loves us and forgives us our 'sins?'" Please, don't even waste time with excuses. I won't buy into them anyway.

All of them can...but the way is narrow....it is only through Jesus....which many complain...but at least there is a way to be saved. Im not gonna say Jesus is one of many ways...cause that's a lie.

But question is...WHY do people go to Hell and is it just? Further to the point that you are also ignoring the fact Jesus died for our sins and shed His blood and rose again so we wouldnt have to go to Hell.

So we do have a choice. We dont have to go. No one's being forced.

True Jesus did say that stuff...but ultimately Jesus doesnt want anyone to perish. Jesus spoke of Hell more than Heaven as a way of warning people.

Imagine there is a bottle that looks just like a regular soda bottle like pepsi or sprite. However, imagine it is poisonous. Now imagine no one put a warning label on it. Now imagine hundreds if not even thousands of people drink this poison and dont even know it.

Jesus put a warning label on the poison of sin and saying...if you (meaning everyone) partake of it...it will lead to your (plural) doom.

but ultimately a person needs to realize and see his/her need for a Savior...

There are two ways at least at looking at Jesus Hell statements

1. Jesus is sadistic and is trying to threaten people with Hell.

or

2. Jesus is loving and is trying to warn us so we can avoid that place.

Another thing is if Jesus never mentioned Hell then people could say, "Hey, I didnt know God!" This way no one can say the "I didnt know about Hell!" excuse.

I suppose it depends on how a person looks at it.

Jesus is also the same that said

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

30For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Again it depends on one's perspective.

It also begs the question.....Is Hell a justifiable punishment?

but well it begs a lot of questions.

I'm gonna go play some games now.

Jesus doesn't want to condemn anyone. He said so in John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

People are guilty and condemned for breaking the commands of God. There are the 10 commandments plus well there are 613 commandments but all these can be summed up in loving your neighbor and loving God or even shorter...love.

Far as eternal suffering...now that is something I need to see for myself...Is it true that it is an eternal torture or not?

For instance in the Bible in Romans 6:23 it says For the wages of sin is DEATH but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

It never says eternal suffering. It clearly states death.

Another is in Ezekial 18 God speaks of how the soul that sinneth it shall die. He never said, "And the soul that sinneth, it will suffer eternally."

Now Revelation is one book that speaks of it being eternal...but yet that book is also an apocalypse and uses symbolism. For instance the four corners are not literal it means NSEW. There isnt going to be a literal beast rising out of the sea. Jesus doesnt literally have brass feet.

Speaking of suffering. Jesus suffered greatly in our place. Do research on it and see what you find. It is pretty gruesome. If you have seen the Passion, that doesnt even come close. Well, they add extrabiblical stuff, but anyway far as suffering it doesnt come close.

Lastly if Jesus wanted us to perish so badly, then He never would have died for us and rose again. Further, we wouldnt even be having this conversation cause we would be in Hell.

Below is an interesting article.

Well if you take it literally...but not everything is meant literally in the Bible.

Dont get where you are getting the idea that Jesus is creepy.

I will take Jesus too.

not only died...but also came back from the grave....

ya....I'll take Him.....
