I Remember Being There
To-day here in Scotland we have T in the Park going back to the 60/70S we had |Woodstock, The Isle of Wight, Hyde Park to name but a few. This inspiration came from a dear friend on EP who I thank for reminding me that life does go on being a hippie to a mother and grandmother....
|Where to start we must go I said to my brother, hitched all the way to get there but boy was it worth it Isle of Wight, music love and peace and fantastic bands, The Doors, Hendrix, The Who, Cohen we survived on very little slept in sleeping bags, had fun in the rain got high and had the time of our lives, it cost nothing to watch these legends.To wake up with all this music around. Being there would not have missed it. And I thank that special friend for reminding me that the old hippie lives on
