Bob Dylan (Robert Allen Zimmerman)
(1941): American pop singer and songwriter whose songs -  Blowin in the Wind, The Times They Are a-Changin - were popular among the US civil right and anti-war groups. In his career spread over 50 years, he received numerous awards, among them being the Presidential Medal of Freedom given by Barack Obama in April 2012.  He has to his credit 34 studio albums, 13 live albums and 58 singles.
