It's been four years since I last saw her. But my ex is always on my mind. Not one day goes by without me thinking about the good times we had together. How could I forget about the sweet girl who was my best friend? A best friend who truly cared about and loved me? I miss you, babe.

@Indianscout I have a question for you. What would happen if your ex contacted you to tell you she has the same feelings for you after 30 years that you have for her? Would you consider risking it all and going back to her?

I am a woman with these feelings about my ex and it makes me smile to know that men can feel so sentimental about their exes too. I pray mine feels about me like you gentlemen feel about your ex sweeties. After 20 years he got back in touch with me (we are both married to others) and I completely poured out my feelings for him, he kind of did to me too. However, the next thing I knew he stopped contacting me. I haven't heard from him for 11 months. I think of him ALL the time and only hope he feels this way about me. I guess sometimes, you get burnt by telling them your true feelings :(

I had the same thing happen to me, but on the year anniversary of us breaking up I texted her to just talk and now were back together. It blew my mind how the feelings i still had for her still resonated in her heart as well. I say go for it and maybe it will be some closure to what your feelings still say.

Get back out there and get her back. You should never give up on someone that means that much to you. If you are meant to be you will be and if you arent you will learn. You never know til you try... Good luck

You sound like me, except I am now 56, she is 52, and I haven't seen her in 30 years. I still feel the same way even though I'm married to a sweet, sweet woman.
