I Was About 9 Or 10 Selling Sports Programs On Match Day At The Feild

we got paid  a small amount to do that really but it was more fun than anything.  we got to meet the players sometimes.

we usually took up a location at the gates and I can't remember how much the programs were ...

we had to give all the proceeds into the office (which was most times my father and a few others)

my dad would be announcing over the air ... calling the match as the play went on...

then we would sit down and watch the match and have lunch.

we also used to help out with ALP campaigning when my father was a secretary of a branch and my mum worked helping with office work for a local parliamentarian.

I used to help a lady sell her crafts at the markets in Ipswich... and or helping a lady with her aged people group ... we would either help them with teas and coffees or help them unwrap gifts... <br />
