Shotgunning

It was just shotgunning. That's all it was. It didn't mean anything.

That's the mantra I repeated in my head over and over after my lips met hers for the first time. We were at our favorite hang out place, the hookah bar, and we decided to shotgun just for giggles and laughs. Now, I have suspected her to be closeted lesbian or bi ever since I met her, and I am plain ole straight. But the second and the third and the fourth time our lips touched, it was quickly becoming quite obvious that she was pretty into it. When she first said she wanted to try it, I knew that while it probably wouldn't be "just shotgunning" for her, that's what it would be for me.

At least that's what I told myself...
