The Best Kiss Of My Life (:

I was having a big party for my 15th birthday last year. I am 16 now. I had became friends with this boy through one of my friends. We had talked for a while and eventually became friends. He came to my party that weekend. He is older than me and has his license so he was the first one there. We were sitting in the cabana by my pool and we started talking. I started telling him about how i have been played constantly and i feel like my heart aches. He told me he felt the same way due to his past relationships. We stopped talking after that because more people started showing up. At 8:00 we were all in the pool hanging out when one of my friends brought up the idea to play manhunt as it was already almost dark out. Me and her were captains and we chose who went on each team. I chose him,angela,jon,katelyn,and gina. The other team was set to count first. I decided it would be easier to break off into pairs of 2 to split up. So without even thinking I chose him as my partner. I knew the woods like I knew the back of my hand. I knew of this little corner just across the river that no one would find us. We ran as fast as we could to the log by the stream and sat down. I looked up and right through the trees was a clear dark sky with millions of stars. I told him to look up and right about our head was the north star. I didn't realize until about 2 minutes later that somehow we were holding hands. I looked over at him and he shyly pulled his hand away. I moved closer to him and grabbed it back. He casually called my name softly as if he'd done it a thousand times. I answered him back. He pulled his hand away again and instead draped it around my waist and pulled me closer to him. My heart started racing a thousand beats per second. I didn't know what was going on. This was my bestfriend and things were happening. He casually leaned over and he kissed my forehead. I turned back to him and said, "You can kiss me if you want." That was the bravest move i've ever made. But it worked because the next thing i knew he was kissing me and i was kissing him back.<3
