If Only It Could Have Ended Happier

My first girlfriend, my senior year in high school, my first kiss, her 16th birthday, her first kiss.

It was sweet, unassuminng nice. We dated happily for eleven months, broke up four weeks before our one year anniversary, and a few days later she died from complications from diabetes.

That was almost six years ago and I still haven't healed from losing her.

Something i've learnt from losing a loved one so far:

Time does not heal, but rather, it gives us time to learn to live with the pain.

Best of luck, whatever your next move shall be.

Thank you. And thank you for not trying to preach, or trying to insist that time heals all wounds.

You're most welcome.

i'm new here, nice to meet you, despite our various circumstances.
