There I was, sitting in my mother 's arms...waiting, wondering..watching. As I held the controller to the Genesis, I knew one of two things was about to happen. I was either going to fall asleep before the good part, or I was going to accomplish my very first goal. Then I heard it...The Sonic the Hedgehog 1 game's theme music! Ohhhh my goodness, that jingle. *plays it in my mind* Hee heee heeeeee. :3 Anyway, yeah, that was my first time playing a Sonic game, when I was 3. ^^ Good times...

Haha, that's almost the same exact experience I had. Only mine was Sonic 3, along with the Knuckles expansion pack.
