I can remember exactly where I was when I heard the news she had died. I was in bed and my mum came in to wake me up, I couldn't believe it. It was just so unexpected and sudden, my immiediate thoughts were for Harry and William, I felt for them so bad. I watched the funeral on TV and just couldn't believe she was gone. She was the nations sweetheart, the peoples princess - all her hard work for charity and then she cruelly gets taken away. She will live on forever in peoples hearts, and I think she'll always be remembered as the best Princess ever.

i was at work when my niece called and told me that diana died. me and my co workers ran to look at the coverage on tv, just sat there in stunned silence. even after 14 years, it's still hard to wrap my mind around the fact that someone so young, so vibrant is no longer with us.

i remeber waking up from an awful hangover..the friend who i had been out with called me with the news. i remember thinking that she was playing some kind of sick joke on me.....but it was on EVERY news channel! cant believe its been ten years!

its funny ive lived in london most of my life and NEVER went to the palace of the TOL..it was'nt until i went back as a tourist years later that i went to see it all.

Oooo I never knew that!! My friends husband is a guard at the palace, and would you believe I have NEVER been there - or to the tower of London. Nearly everyone who visits Britain goes to see them but living here I just never bothered!!

I know, I wasn't fortunate to meet her but I would have loved to, I met the queen once and shook her hand when she came to my home town - she was really sweet. I met Prince Charles too, his helicopter landed in a field next to my primary school and I snuck out to see him lol, well I didn't actually "meet" him but I saw him!!! Ha I'm such a freak!!
