My Babay Miss Meek Was Rescued! (photo's Included)

A personal story in the experience: I Rescued a Cat

Miss Meek was about 3 weeks old when I was driving to my twin sisters house on a busy road in Phenix City were I live. I saw this little black ball of something in the middle of the road and pulled off the side of the road to do further checking. It was a kitten, then I realized the kitten didn't have it's tail. I started to cry, the poor girl had already been hit. I was a volunteer for the Human Society and rushed her there. They took her and did test on her and come to find out she is a full blooded Manx (born without a tail). Her eyes were still closed. She was so tiny. I fell in love instantly! Other then having an upper chest cold, she was fine. I got a bottle, baby kitten formula, a baby littler box and took my new baby home. I couldn't come up with a name for her, so I opened the dictionary and it opened to Meek. So, I named her Meek. Which fit her to a "t" then. I picked out a birthday for her April 14th, 2005. She just turned 4 years old.

She is my little angle, my little one true love! I can't imagine my life without her. She makes my life complete. The love and affection she gives me is like nothing I ever felt before. Meek comes before most humans in my life!!! She is mommy's little girl! I am so thankful we found each other, it was just meant to be!

Yes she does, she is the queen of the household. What Miss Meek wants Meek gets. She's mommy's angel!
