It's incredibly relaxing and relieving to get on the back of a trusty horse and ride--just ride.  Just you, the desert trail, and the environmentally-friendly, somewhat temperamental 4x4 between your legs.  It's calming.  And if you have something to get off your chest, you can tell the horse and he will not judge you, or have anything to say back to you.  (of course if he DOES, he'll be walking through the desert ALONE after that. lol)

You say, ".... somewhat temperamental 4x4 between your legs. "<br />

Love that! But I'm not sure I would always call it "calming!"<br />

Not only will your horse not judge you -- not for what you confide in him, anyway, he won't tell anybody else what you said. Here is the real advantage. smiles.
