My Family Orphanage...
Today our orphanage has over 90 children and operates completley independantly. We dont have any government, corporate or aid organisation supporting us... its pretty much just my sisters and a few friends. In Australia my Dad had a small farm and my mother was a house-wife... I did some computer training and was pretty much a waiter for 6 years. I believe that our desire and our commitment was all that was needed to change the lives of these children, we didnt need moeny or power or anything other than genuine hearts for the work.
We love to have visitors out here, but we of course have to be careful who comes (cause there are a lot of scary people in this world). If you want any information or just want to check out our work please take a look at www.IndianOrphanage.com which is our orphanages website.
Clifton.

Posted Sep 10th, 2009 at 8:57PM, last updated Sep 10th, 2009 at 9:00PM :) thanks Kattrise. It really isa pleasure to be a part of this organisation. Its totally not what I had thought I would do with the rest of my life (I was actually a computer technician and i guess expected that to be it for me). I am so glad it wasn't though! My life is so much more exciting now than it ever could have been back in my old job/life. Clifton IndianOrphanage.com | |
