Can you understand it is a bit hard on people who work in ER, ICU etc were children and others die every week. These professionals have to distance themselves from all the pain or they get stressed out. It is hard and unusual work to have to cope with...DD | |
Posted May 16th, 2009 at 10:15PM pixelita, one of the reasons I was very good at doing that sort of thing was that it was very easy for me to distance myself. I even wanted to be the one to pull the plug on the ones who were finally declared brain dead. Mother Superior thought I was a good boy for volunteering. | |
