Sounds fun, I hope it is not offensive! just because I don't have the right accent!

I guess they cross themselves,

:-)... I mean when you say Y'all....

What? what did I say? I didn't say anything.

What do people think when you say that LV?

As long as you don't laugh, I would love to talk, and I am a fast learner.

@ LP: it sounds nice, I love southern accent, I try that sometimes but not in public, I don't want people to think I am making fun of them. It rhymes.<br />

@ LawLover: I here you, after I have practiced enough and don't sound funny I will speak in southern accent.

Well, I have said y'all all my life and don't think I could change now! LOL The only time I really notice is when I go up North to visit my sister who lives in Boston. People there do look at me funny and say I have an accent. As if THEY don't?! B/c of my language training and serious attempts of my own to get rid of a too pronounced Southern accent, most people don't know I am Southern born and bred. But getting rid of a an accent, as in diction, is not the same as not saying Soutern things like y'all and "fixin' to" and "yonder" I think some things are just attached to your thinking patterns and help make you who you really are! (Yee-haw!) LOL
