Forgive This Man.

Driving along the road one day, I passed along a plaza. Desolate was the sight, abandoned with dirty windows and trash all over the parking lot. A reasonably well-dressed man was sitting on the sidewalk, twisting something beneath his feet, swaying back and forth and muttering under his breath. It looked like he was pleading to God to save him from the situation.

This humbling image sticks in my mind to this day.

it reminds me of when i was on leave after desert storm and i saw my first homeless person. i'll never forget it. it's a sight that's become all too common.

Wow, that is a powerful image.
Yea where I am at, I have seen a lot of ***** malls go empty. It is sad to think that so many are without jobs right now. And what are their fears when they find out their job is gone.
Thanks for the story. It gives me something to think about, today on how lucky I am.
