To End The Emotional Pain.....I only cut myself when I can't stand the emotional pain any longer. When I'm upset with myself, I hit myself in the face. That hurt a lot!
I've given myself a black eye and bruises around my face and my head.
I try break the cutting cycle, it's hard. I'm seeing a therapist, and he helps me cope with my emotional pain by reminding me of my coping skill tools.
Sometimes I do self harm out of impulsive behavior or the voices in my head tells me to do it.
I have a few permanent scars from cutting in the past.
I really want to stop hurting myself.
