Problem is, that not everyone can just get a fresh new start with theological works, some people have been led to works with such intent as to make it a punishment, a psychological strength through weakness. They have a few options, take it in a whole new perspective, or let the brain mature and take it up much later in their lives. The need for theology doesn't really hit until the mid thirties. Then that aspect is generalized at best for those who drink alcohol and have lessened their mental maturity. They can't help it. Some rely on a sense of pretend and a therapeutic aspect of it, creating new outlets for curiosity with study of academics and need a topic of something that is not proven, such as esp, witchcraft, paranormal, and the like until they do gain mental maturity. They can't help it and need guidance from that aspect, which leaves them vulnerable to the aspect of medical science in psychiatry, but if they have something to just read that they don't have to read on witch craft and the like, it soothes them a little and eventually they feel like they have explored the all and can go back to the theology world recognized of their choice. Anything experienced in mind or body of esp or witch craft is considered mental illness. It just is. Even when the bible and some other works come across as a gigantic work of mental illness, incomprehensible and impossible, it is accepted. Well, anyway, freedom of religion is very important.
