See Faerie Sit

It begins with a very simple "why"
And everything else break loose
The looser they are
The more difficult the answers come.

And so faerie sits
What we may call meditating
It is not
A reason we find as an excuse
Who are we kidding?
When we start to question
It is called moping.

Meditating is thinking and reflecting
In a calm manner.

Moping is fretting and sulking
In a dejected manner.

Choose how we sit
Meditating is acceptance and letting go.
Moping is brooding and doing nothing.

Faerie wants to sit for now
But I choose to sit to quiet the mind
To be one with the realization
That the quest is never ending
And such cravings are forever.

*shushes the monkey chattering questions*

I like your definition of moping. Moping is such a fun word, too bad it doesn't have a different definition.

You are right - introspection is one thing, brooding is another.<br />
