Ahh, I am not alone in the world. I am not the only one who's body is weird. :)

Same here. My hips and knees kill me if I don't have a pillow between my legs or sleep with one leg on my husband.

That's kind of what I thought, I am really curvy (not fat) so my hips are kinda wide. I had wondered if maybe that had something to do with it. Glad to know I'm not the only one, Thanks Josie. :)

Me too. It keeps your hips level and I believe that is what makes the difference.

I've never been pregnant, so I don't get why I wake up in pain. Do you have pain without it?

I do the same thing! Ever since I was pregnant with my last child I sleep with a bone-shaped pillow between my legs. I've got two of them, in case one gets lost in the night.
